Inspired by mid-century American supper clubs, The Betty pays tribute to the continental menus of yesteryear. But while the dishes may sound comfortingly familiar, Chef Thomas’s approach is decidedly 21st century. The Betty is absolutely beautiful. It is located inside the Kimpton in Buckhead. The walk from the entrance of the hotel to the restaurant sets the mood- cool, fun, laid back, yet upscale. I've visited before and my take is the same now as then-AMAZING STAFF, beautiful decor, great bar, and pretty ok food. I do highly recommend the Betty for a catch up. You won't want to leave. It is a gem.

I went to a special event with a set menu (Thanksgiving), so I'll have to go back to be able to talk about the food in general terms. The wines were only offered by the glass, I don't know if there was a wine list (bottles). But the waiters were very friendly, the food was well served, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

When first walking in, we knew we were in for a treat as the atmosphere was really nice. Great decor and vibe. But unfortunately we’re very disappointed by the service. We were sat immediately and given waters, but it was 15/20 mins before our server made it to the table and a total of 35 minutes before we had anything other than water delivered to us. I could understand a little if they were busy, but there were only about 8 tables worth of people and our sever seemed very flustered with remembering our order while taking it. The rest of the meal moved through okay, meal was okay. The mushroom risotto had half cooked, half raw vegetables…not great. It is a great space, but we won’t be going back until things improve.

The staff was very friendly and engaging. The band was nice and I appreciated that we were still able to have conversation without having to yell at our table. The food was really good and came out hot and fresh. We recommend the oysters, crab cake, roasted chicken, and burger dishes.
