   We had the most fabulous meal and experience! Great wine recommendation from the sommelier and lovely surprise desserts in honor of some things our table was celebrating - they made it so special!

   Lovely room to dine in at the Bistro. Service was just okay, not to the level expected. We ordered wine and an appetizer, salads and dinner entrees. The wine, appetizer and salad all came at the same time and then when finished we waited 40 minutes for our dinners. My husband liked his lobster very much. I had the chicken which was dry and over cooked and the polenta it was served on was like tasteless paste. Very disappointing. Yet when we dined there just before Christmas everything was delicious and the service perfect. Go figure. The dining room was not that busy and people on either side of us sat and ordered after us yet were served and finished before we were. The manger and waitress apologized for the wait and did take $30 off our bill but I would have preferred to pay the $30 and had a better dinner served more timely and attentively (I should not have get a wait person's attention to ask for more water 2X).

    The Bistro at Ocean House Watch Hill was wonderful. From the moment you are greeted and throughout our time, staff was lovely, engaging knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed a cocktail at the Bar with Davi as our Bartender, a delightful young man. We then were seated in the sun room and the view was spectacular Our food was delicious, from fresh to fresher if that can be a description, the swordfish and the salmon were cooked to order and great. We would certainly recommend and return to this lovey getaway!
