I had the fish and chips, excellent fish - very generous portions. However the chips could be improved - not great for a gastro pub - need to be better. The desert - I had a Bakewell tart - was disappointing and did not work - yogurt and Bakewell - didn't taste fresh with a soggy pear and honey drizzle. I was disappointed in that choice. Lovely staff and good pub.

Was visiting Dublin, nothing disappointing about this pub food was amazing service was excellent 🙌 definitely visit again

Highly recommended!! Food was absolutely gorgeous! Steak on the stone was amazing. My Brother who came for visit from Poland was impressed. He travels a lot but he said that the food in The balck Forge is the top!!!

The overall experience is brilliant, there was live music on which made it even better. The steak which you cook yourself is unbelievable. The staff are lovely particularly the blonde lady who I think was the manager, very welcoming and chatty. Would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful restaurant, the food was amazing. Highly recommend the burrata and 10 oz steak on a stone. The forged Irish stout was a great pint.

Amazing food. Service was excellent and never tasted food like it. Very comfortable place to eat. Well done to all the staff.

Lovely food and cocktails as always, it’s the second time we booked a big table for an occasion but both times we were sat up by the band and the outside chairs were stools we swapped them for chairs with a backrest but I’d like to be seated better next time but I’m sure if I specified it they would meet our needs

Food was amazing we had wings and stake on stone both were 10/10 , staff are wonderful , our little boy burnt his hand and breffini and the rest of the staff couldn’t of been more helpful and caring towards us , I would highly recommend the black forage for food and for great service
