Server was very personable and checked on us at regular intervals. The other staff were nice as well. (We had brunch which was a buffet). I don’t typically care for buffets, but the lines were short or non-existant. It was a plentiful buffet with a nice variety (I don’t eat meat) and some of the vegetables were seasoned with meat, but that was fine for my companions. Fresh made waffles and omelettes were delicious, as was all the food, but I love waffles. My husband enjoyed the prime rib center cut. Choice of beverages but I opted for the standard Mimosa. One over zealous sports enthusiast was too noisy but otherwise nice ambiance complemented by a lovely sounding musical duo. All in all it was an excellent afternoon. The brunch crowd was a laid back, friendly group. Note: The restaurant fees that you see in DC are showing up in the burbs now so be prepared for about $30 of those. If you have cash you can negate some of that.

Wonderful brunch experience - lots of great options & all food is seasoned well. Loved by fresh-made omelet with crab and shrimp. Primer rib was so tender. Fried chicken was crispy. Nice dessert and pastry options. And great service - waiters were very attentive, as was management.

The lobster app. Wasn’t as good as it used to be. They changed it and it’s definitely less desirable. I would definitely skip that. After checking out I didn’t notice that they charged me per soft drink which it says bottomless ! Make sure you check your receipts before checking out . Nothing like being charged per soda $12.00 is a little expensive for something that is listed as bottomless.

One of my fav go to restaurants for lunch or dinner....sister restaurants are good but this is the best location they have in my opinion...try the fried lobster soo good!

My experience at the Blackwall Barn and Lodge in Gambrills for Sunday brunch with my family and close friends was absolutely amazing! The food was hot and fresh!! I highly recommend the crab cakes. The French onion soup was a great starter. The star of the show was the Hibiscus smashed strawberry cocktail! DELICIOUS!
