Here at The Boathouse we are proud to offer a warm Scottish welcome. Our hearty menu is inspired by the fantastic range of options Scotland has to offer. We have a passion for using seasonal, local produce and are here to ensure our guests have the very best dining experience.

We are delighted to serve up an array of home cooked Scottish favourites including freshly landed fish and chips, The Boathouse steak pie, haggis, neeps and tatties and many other classics.

Our bar area offers a warm and cosy welcome whether your tipple is a beer, wine, cocktail, gin or dram.

And don’t forget we have the most fabulous outdoor seating overlooking the stunning Loch, the perfect spot on a sunny day. We also have a small number of outdoor covered bothies available.

We are dog friendly and serve up a special menu for our four legged friends created by our friends

    Although they had a big party table & had apologised multiple times in advanced for any wait times we really didnt have to wait long and the noise level was kept to a minimum. Amazing food and service. Would definitely recommend- beautiful restaurant

    The venue was lovely, menu had enough choice, portions were pretty reasonable as was the quality, however over £80 for 2 for 3 courses 1 sparling water and half a beer was pretty steep

    Had a lovely experience at the boat house. A group of girls celebrating our friends getting married stayed in loch Tay house and visited the restaurant for dinner one night. The staff were very accommodating, polite and we had a great laugh with them. The food was beautiful and everyone enjoyed their meal.

    Lovely meal. Food delicious and friendly welcoming staff. Only wish they were open 7 days a week to allow us more than one visit during our stay.

    A very nice restaurant and the food was good. Unfortunately on the Sunday evening we went it was understaffed and those that were on duty, although very pleasant and friendly, we're struggling to keep up with the amount of diners in the restaurant.

    There were only two members of staff and they were rushed off their feet. It was very unfair on them to be so short staffed. Also, the 10% service charge was unexpected. I didn't see anywhere where this was advertised. The food was tasty but overpriced.
