    I hadn't been to The Brass Onion since COVID started. I always enjoyed it and was impressed by it so we took our out of town guests there for dinner. The menu seemed to have less options, if my memory serves me right. Once we ordered our food, it took a very long time for it to arrive. My husband ordered prime rib. The server came back to say that they were out of it. So he ordered the double pork chop with baked potato. The pork chop was overcooked and tough. The baked potato was undercooked. Our server was nice enough but didn't seem to have a feel for serving. We probably won't be back.

    This was our first time here and it was amazing. The food was good. Mimosas were really good. The biscuits were slightly dry. We will be back. The potatoes were hands down my favorite.

    Sunday brunch was absolutely delicious. We began with an order of beignets that were light and fluffy. The gumbo is one of the best that I’ve tasted in the KC metro area. Food portions were generous and a great value. They offer a wide variety of food items on the brunch menu. Starting off with a Bloody Mary as a good choice.

    Had a lovely meal and plan to come back to try other items. The restaurant was out of my first choice, prime rib, but I hope to try it next time

    The beignets and cinnamon rolls alone are worth a visit. Delicious brunch menu, can’t wait to come back and explore more of the menu.

    Brass Onion was a great place for a lovely evening…always good food, Kaitlin Marie was a fantastic server, and we had a very nice experience overall!

    We loved our experience! Our server was great and very knowledgeable about the menu. We had the onion dip as an app and it was good. I had the macaroni and it was amazing the cheese sauce was so smoky and went well with the shrimp and mushrooms. My date had the Reuben and he enjoyed his meal as well. We will be back!

    We were in a side room that they had obviously opened up for valentine's day. It was very cold when we got there but warmed up fairly nicely. I had the short ribs and they were good. My husband had the Mrs. B's chicken.Which was generous portions and good but not great. Dinner for 2 with tip was under $100 So it was definitely a decent value for the money.
