Food was excellent and a decent value. We got the dinner for 2 which came with 5 varieties of meat, 2 sides and 2 salads which was more than enough food for my wife and I. The server was very attentive, polite and delivered all of our drinks and food in a timely manner. She was helpful with suggestions as well even though we came in prepared with what to order. Despite every table being filled, we never waited too long for drinks. I did ask for one of the bar tv’s to be changed to a football game that was on at the time, and both times was told that would be possible, but it never got changed and I wasn’t given a reason for why. Nit-picky, maybe, but I stopped asking after the second request. I just assumed the bar was too busy and understood that. The menu variety and uniqueness is something that will bring us back again for a date night, but it is easily $40-60 a seat without drinks, so not quite a casual dining experience for us. Would recommend to friends and family downtown for events or special occasions!

This was my first visit and it was a great experience. The empanadas and short rib gnocchi were delicious. Our waitress was friendly and took great care of us. I will definitely dine there again.

I think this is the most underappreciated restaurant in the city. Always excellent food and service and the ambience is just cool. If it was a little closer to the Aronoff, it would be as hard to get into as Boca. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. Drinks were delicious. Had an issue with one of our sides not being hot, server and manager promptly took care of it. Great experience!

First, Jennifer was amazing. Took great care of us, had solid recommendations for the bar as well as the menu. Then the kitchen delivered, too. Awesome meal. Tasty drinks. Cool vibe. We’ll be back for sure.

Good was great and service outstanding! We had the experience and it was perfect amount for 2. If getting salad which comes with ask for extra dressing. Great place and food would recommend.

We made last minute reservations here to celebrate our anniversary and we’re so glad we did! We’ve gone to many popular restaurants in Cincinnati and our overall experience here was by far the best (above many hard-to-book and highly esteemed spots, I’ll add). To begin, they acknowledged our anniversary (which often doesn’t happen when I note it on the reservation) and provided either a champagne toast or mocktails on the house. We got bread service and The Parrillada Experience with brussels and gnocchi- absolutely delectable. The skirt steak and shrimp were my favorites, and the chimichurris were perfection. Will definitely be back and would most likely order the exact same thing! Our server, Ethan, was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable and made it an all-around great experience. If you’re on the fence, BOOK IT!

We had a wonderful, pre-concert dinner experience at The Butcher and Barrel. Our steaks were perfectly prepared, our martinis were refreshing and smooth, and our server, Crystal Metts, was attentive, personable, and had excellent recommendations. We highly recommend this restaurant!
