I’ve been coming to the Butcher Chef for years and it’s one of my favourite restaurants to dine at. The service and food quality is truly unmatched and it has the best ambience. I highly recommend for anyone who has never been - you won’t be disappointed! Thank you to the wonderful staff there!

The best meal you may have. Everything is perfect always. The potatoes and leeks are an epic spin on basic au gratin potatoes. Darcy was fabulous.

Seated in an aisle directly off of the front door. The seat was very cold because of the door always opening and closing. Asked to move and after a couple no’s they did accommodate and I am grateful for that. There was a couple seated at that spot after me, and they had their coats on. Recommend explicitly requesting to not have the seat right by the door.

exceptional food and excellent service, overpriced especially wines difficult to spot from the street tight seating at the bar - but enjoyable 100%

Food was excellent cooked to perfection, service was great. We always go for special events and celebrations. As any great restaurant with great seafood and steak as well as other dishes. Go there and keep in mind that everything will be great no matter what you choose and you will have to pay accordingly. By the way, their mixed drinks are delicious. Unique experience.

Made us wait 30+ mins at the door past our reservation time, didn’t seat us at the bar or take our jackets in the mean time. Said they were sorry and would compensate something - they didn’t. Was my friends birthday, in which his wife dropped off a cake and spoke to management about it being a surprise earlier in the evening and the associated fees that come with bringing a cake. She acknowledged, paid it and moved along. After our appetizers and before the main our server then told our entire table that the cake delivered earlier has a per person cutting fee and asked if it was someone’s birthday. For the price point they are at, those errors aren’t acceptable.

Food incredible, loved it and want more. Service very attentive, almost too attentive. For example, DO NOT REMOVE PATRONS PLATE WHEN PATRON STILL CHEWING LAST BITE!! This was followed up by delicious desert - still chewing when plate removed and seconds later bill and payment machine brought to table! Left a very bad impression which is too bad because up to that point it had been a wonderful night. Tell this waiter to slow down!!! Meal for 2 cost over $650 with only 2 drinks. Get ready to pay big bucks.
