The Butchers Tale presents a fresh approach to the culinary world of artisanal meats, bringing back favorites and introducing new tangy, melt-in-your-mouth options including Wagyu beef, double-cut smoked pork chops, our smoked beef long rib, grilled oysters and other extensive seafood offerings.

The Butchers Tale has every mood, taste, budget, and craving covered, from specialty meats and steaks like Wagyu and prime steaks in our main dining room; to juicy burgers, fried chicken and handmade brats on our award-winning patio and beer garden. The Butchers Tale has everything needed to spend memorable time with family, friends and neighbors. Thank you Butcher’s Tale for making my birthday so special! First off, our server Meesh (sp) was an absolute gem. She was friendly, knowledgeable and her attitude was confident yet casual. As a queer couple, sometimes we get treated weirdly but Meesh was absolutely excellent and welcoming. The server assistants were also top notch and very attentive. The food was immaculate! The pork chop was roughly the size of a king mattress and I have no idea how the kitchen managed to cook such a mighty chop to absolute perfection. My steak was one of the best I’ve ever had and the key lime pie almost made me cry tears of joy, and yet I despair I will never again find its equal. We will we back! Also I don’t drink anymore but the whiskey list was very impressive! Thank you everyone!

The service, starters, dinner, bourbon flights, and wine were all good and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. However, the noise level was like a club and ridiculously loud — we’d have stayed for dessert t another drink but didn’t want to continue to yell across the table to one another.

We had scallops, cesar salad, oysters, wagyu beef & Aussie wagyu. Skip the Aussie wagyu— very fatty. Not like good wagyu. Scallops & salad were great. Oysters small.

Very good service. Timeliness of meals was exceptional. The sides were perfectly portioned to share amongst our table of 4. We had the carrots, brussels sprouts, and sweet potato au gratin. Steaks cooked to perfection. The garlic knots were delicious. I would return for sure!

Great food, great staff and great atmosphere. It was a wonderful experience. That banana bread old fashion was absolutely delicious. So smooth and strong. My ribeye was cooked perfectly and full of flavor and juicy. My wife’s salmon was buttery and flavorful. We had the Brussel sprouts and truffle fries as a side. I would recommend those two. Next time I am there I will try the beef rib.

We had an amazing dinner! Our server Adam did an amazing job explaining the menu and recommending some amazing dishes! We will definitely be back!

We made reservations ahead of time but still got stuck in the weird tables by the front door. There was a draft and it was very bright in that spot which for paying so much I would hope to have a higher quality seating option off of a reservation.
