Celebrated as one of the TOP 5 restaurants in the Lothians at the 2019 Food and Drink awards, our laid-back restaurant The Campaign Room, is once daily for both residents and non-residents.

Using the very best, fresh, local and seasonal Scottish produce, we’ll be dishing up a daily selection of mouthwatering lunches and dinners.

And it’s definitely time to eat, drink, relax and catch-up with friends! So come and join us for lunch or dinner and escape to a breathtaking world away at The Campaign Room Bistro. We all had the fish meal for lunch. The meal was lovely but portion sizes are small. Last time we visited you could choose small portion half a fish or normal portion a whole fish. Now no choice x you only get half a fish for 15.95. So portion sizes small I'd say. Regardless of that it was a lovely lunch out in a very nice location. Staff polite & attentive. A lovely Christmas ambience

Booked for a birthday and they gave the birthday boy a drink on the house which was a lovely surprise. The food was lovely although the marmalade pudding was dry - extra ice cream would help. We had a slight mix up with one of the mains ordered but the kitchen sorted it really quickly. No set kids menu but they made a simple tomato pasta which my son loved. Beautiful dining room. Would recommend

A warm welcome by staff. Beautiful surroundings. I took my friend out for her birthday dinner. She absolutely loved her meal. Nice choice on the menu. Food well presented. Staff attentive throughout asking how our meal was without intrusion. Thank you to all staff for a wonderful evening. Both myself and my friend will definitely be back.

As always, a wonderful meal enjoyed in beautiful surroundings. The staff are wonderful and so accommodating. With my mother in a wheelchair it’s sometimes difficult to find easily accessible spaces, but the team at Carberry Tower really ensures that everyone feels really comfortable. A special shoutout to the wonderful Phil who shared some fabulous historical stories about the building - huge thanks! See you soon.

Service was slow and only partial orders arrived. Some of the meal was unexpectedly stone cold. Staff were pleasant but often invisible. Disappointing experience.
