Made a reservation through OpenTable. It asked if we were celebrating an occasion. I confirmed it was a birthday party with 6 people in the party. I guess that was pointless because the Canadian Brewhouse made no mention of it, even though I mentioned to the greeter and server that the birthday girl was here. Regardless, our server was very pleasant. A few mistakes, nothing serious. Glass of red wine spilled on a senior. No cutlery then not enough cutlery. As for the food, one meal sent back because it was cold otherwise everyone said the food was ok but nothing special. I've been a few times for lunch and thought it was pretty good. Our first dinner experience won't have us rushing back but will probably try again.

We found the food generous and full of flavour. Our server was fantastic! We plan to go back amd try many more menu items!

We were there as a group of four to celebrate a birthday, which was listed in the reservations upon booking,but it wasn’t mentioned and even dessert menu wasn’t offered after our meals. That was a little disappointing it everything else was good!

I must say, Shepard Pie was delicious and Donairs were enjoyed. But, I had made a reservation and called to make it an hour earlier and gladly changed but when I got there at the new time, the request had not changed but accommodated. I had also stated over the phone on mobility issue and needed a regular table. There are not regular height tables available and not mentioned. Service a little slow and it was not even half full. Bucket with rags left on bar along with boxes of stock and patrons had to sit around these as the place was filling up and they remained at the bar. Staff need to be trained on removing dishes during app turnover and check in for food tasting both times was followed as food was just placed on table by one server and main server was behind them. Training and training would improve service. Also, we had a nut allergy mentioned at time of ordering. Server stated after apps served that manager would be by to confirm with allergies, nice gesture, but did not happen.

No coffee, desserts were average, our ice cream came out melted and the food was nothing to write home about.

Don't go here for date night during a hockey game; could not have a conversation. They are still working out the kinks here. Brought both our starter salad and meal at the same time. Other than that our server was very attentive

We arrived at 7 pm for our reservation ordered our drinks pitcher came with no cups we waited, we ordered apitizers they took 1 hour to come to the table, service was very slow dinner was served 2 hours after we Sat down we will not go back.

First time at The Canadian Brewhouse last night and I had expected more. The food was nothing to write home about - lacklustre at best. Service was slow, rude and unhelpful when asked questions. We had a wobbly table and were made to feel like a nuisance when we asked napkins or coasters to help. Overall, I won’t be running back anytime soon.

All of the staff were very polite and helpful, however our server did not check up on us very much to refill our drinks. We had to ask the managers and other waitresses to accommodate us. And our food took a bit longer than expected.
