I am not sure if the Brewhouse in Red Deer has new management but last nights visit was a bit of a disappointment for sure.
This is a sports bar - stop with the girly pop music ( I am a girl FYI and the music is for teenagers) . It was st pattys day and somehow they managed to get the worst pattys music there is.. pop... play the good old Irish tunes. On regular days - country, rock, and some pop - mix it up... but its pop always!!!
I have been going to the brewhouse since the day it opened, and each year it looses its sports appeal and becomes more cosmopolitan - Browns Social house is right next door, if I wanted cosmo I would go there!!!!
Also the Irish band - now the locations might now have the choice to be part of the pup crawl but this year the brewhouse was not part of it - super disappointed in that. Not coming here for next yrs pattys day - will try somewhere new.
The biggest disappointment - we made reservation's ahead of time and got put in the worst seats ever. There were so many other great seats available and we got stuck up in the back nines with barley any light. The table didn't even have a reserved sign on it -felt to me like they lost the reservation. Someone that cared enough to book ahead of time should get some of the best seats in the house - that's how it should go if management cared. I am fairly confident it was management that put us up there too!!!
And the nachos - paid more for extra cheese and fixings - the smallest nachos I have received in years. What happened there? Seems like you jacked up the prices and then took away half of the food!!!!
Might be loosing a long term customer if management doesn't figure out how to bring the sports feel back to the bar. Maybe she should apply at Browns - seems more her style.
