Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     while food was technically good, we were underwhelmed. Server was excellent. For the price the servings were on the smaller side. Friend ordered filet and it came with nothing. steak on a plate. I’ve had more creative dishes at Barn 8, Meesh Meesh, River House. I also had coffee with desert and they brought milk not cream. I had to send my coffee back and they did bring me another cup this time with cream. I don’t think we will be back.

    What a wonderful experience from the atmosphere, the food, the service and the company! Tristan was phenomenal! We celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary and everything was PERFECT!

    We were about the first to be seated for lunch on the day after Christmas. We were in the bar area which is nice. Unfortunately, our soup and salad came out after our entrees so timing was off. As the first to order we were surprised when others were getting their food before we did. Food was good though. We just didn’t really need our soup and salad after starting entrees.

    We’ve been to several Capital Grille locations, and the restaurant in Louisville matches the wonderful experiences we’ve had in Washington, DC, Tyson’s Corner, Va. & Hartford, CT. It’s our go-to place for special occasions & celebrations. Everett was our server, and he was engaging, knowledgeable and anticipated our wishes. We had the calamari which was tender & delicious & the sliced fillet with Cipollini onions & mushrooms. The fillet was prepared perfectly. My wife who was celebrating a milestone birthday, also had the Expresso Martini, and I had an In Fashion both excellently prepared. And the complimentary birthday dessert was exemplary. We will definitely return.
