Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. We look forward to going to Capital Grill every year for the holidays. This one time we went to the new one in Southlake. Unfortunately it missed the mark. We went shortly after they opened and were given a very noisy table when I specifically asked for a quiet table. Since half the restaurant was empty, you would’ve thought it would not have been a big deal to switch us. But it was. Service was OK but overbearing. The Thanksgiving meal honestly didn’t taste like much. I hate to say it, but, it was just a very underwhelming experience. Tried to talk to the general manager about it, but he didn’t really seem interested.

Shay was excellent! She went above and beyond, checked on us constantly, called us by our first name….very impressive! Shay is the perfect server!!! Shay is #1! ❤️

Really nice environment and excellent service but my husbands sea bass was tough and overcooked. I also got the chef recommended filet and it was the same tough and overcooked. The beet salad was good and were the Brussel sprouts but def had higher expectations for the food.

Expectations were higher for capital grill and Southlake, but this was the most generic looking steakhouse. You can tell the Olive Garden is under this ownership umbrella.

Our server Tawny was fantastic, only great thing about the being. The shrimp cocktail overcooked making it dry and smelling fishy, almost like it was left in the fridge for a couple days. My first veal chop was over cooked, took about 15 mins to get a replacement; the second chop was cooked correctly but looked terrible on the plate. Quality of the meat was not there, very grainy, same was the case with the filet my guest ordered. Management made their way around several tables, not to mine.

Old-time vibe with great service, very good food, and well-lighted. No eating in the dark. Great alternative to the nearby Del Frisco’s Grille where service is no longer what it once was.
