   It was such a cute atmosphere. We ordered the wedge salad, lamb ribs with pomegranate jam, steak tartare, the salmon and we had to order dessert (bread pudding) . Everything was so delicious. Since it wasn’t too busy, the manager took us to the speak easy that’s attached !!

   This was my second time here and not as good as the first. It was extremely loud, to the point of having to shout at my companion to be heard! Food was ok but not that flavorful. We asked for some bread to go with the burrata starter but were told they didn't have any, which seemed odd. The shrimp dish was tasty but a tiny portion and expensive for the amount. The creme brulee was deconstructed with a creme fraiche style cream which tasted weird...sometimes it's good to just leave a classic dish alone!

   We had a fun time coming here for the first time . The lamb ribs was rich and the scalloped risotto was excellent. We will come back if we are in downtown.

   We came for dinner before washing a show. The service was great and our waitress did a great job of helping us get out in time. The cocktails were well crafted and our dinner was very good. I had the salmon (portion was on the small side) but it was delicious & my husband loved his Marlowe burger. Can’t wait to go back!

   Service was great and very conscientious! Pork chop, steak, fries and drinks were good. Salads, salmon, gnocchi and risotto were over-salted, making value a bit low for the price point. Overall a good spot near the theater-district, and in future I’d probably stick to the pub classics (fish and chips, burger, steak).

    The Cavalier is our go-to whether a date night or meeting friends. The service level is unparalleled- they treat you like you are family and do all of the little things to make you feel valued as a customer. Very rare these days. On top of that the food and drinks can’t be beat - we have never had something that we didn’t thoroughly enjoy. So glad we found this little gem and look forward to many more nights spent there.
