As a fine dining establishment, the restaurant has a dress code for indoor seating. STARTING MAY 01, 2023 RESERVATIONS INSIDE JUST CALLING THE RESTAURANT. ALL RESERVATIONS ONLINE WILL BE SEATED OUTSIDE PATIO. Nice attire/business casual is appropriate. No shorts, torn-jeans, hats/baseball caps, tank tops/tee shirts, flip flops/sandals or open toe shoes.

For summer patio dining is casual. Please dress appropriately for outdoor weather as we may not be able to move you to an inside table, if needed.

No children under 12 years old on Monday's - Saturday's (evening fine dining). No children menus.

Due to the size of the restaurant, we cannot hold reservations for tables larger than 4 guests without securing the reservation with a credit card. A credit card will be held on file for your applicable reservation and if not cancelled or guest count modified within 24 hours prior to the designated reservation time, a sur-charge equal to $25/non-cancelled guest will be applied. This policy is in effect to cover losses from non-reservable covers resulting from holding the reservation; table moves; set-up; breakdown; etc. For reservations greater than 5 guests, please contact the restaurant directly at (801) 550-9348.

We celebrated our anniversary and it was a very special dining experience. Ernesto was very knowledgeable and welcoming, kept tabs on our progress and we felt cared for. Delicious, beautifully served food.

The Charleston in Draper is hands down one of the greatest places I’ve ever been to! From the moment you walk in, you’re met with an incredible atmosphere that sets the tone for an unforgettable experience. The service was absolutely top-notch—attentive, friendly, and seamless. The outdoor area is where this place truly shines. Sitting by the fire in such a cozy and inviting setup is something you don’t find just anywhere. It’s the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy the moment. The attention to detail, from the ambience to the overall vibe of the place, is unmatched. I left completely impressed and already planning my next visit. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an all-around amazing dining experience!

The food was excellent. The waiter and service was acceptable. Not great but OK. The only complaint was the wait for everything. From being seated (20 min with a reservation) to having to wait for the waiter (15 min) to ordering and arrival of the food (order to arrival: 1 hour) it was just a large disconnect.

Food was great (buratta salad, escargot, filet mignon, lobster bisque), but we had the slowest service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. 6:30pm reservations that we arrived on time for and they still asked us to wait. I think our server forgot about us multiple times and a bar drink we ordered didn’t come even 25 minutes later and after asking 2 staff members about it. 2 hours in we asked for the check even before plates were cleared because we knew it would take so long. The music upstairs is too loud to even hear the person sitting across from you, and the light fixture is hanging from a wire in the ceiling and needs to be replaced. This was not a five star experience or restaurant. Would be willing to try again with different staff and sitting in a different location or just takeout food.

Chef it was a miss tonight. The pasta was dry and the cognac filet had a strange butane gas flavor in some bites. Not enough cream and potato to complement the filet. Table service was slow and we waited far too long for our food. I have been here multiple times and was looking forward to tonight but this fell a short. The French onion soup was delicious. Service just ok. Ambiance A+. I hope constructive criticism helps improve the overall experience.

Had an absolutely amazing date night with my beautiful wife. Amazing hidden gem of a restaurant. Food, ambiance, and service were spot on. Could not have asked for a better place to have a special night with my wife. Thank you to everyone to include accepting flowers that were delivered and ensuring they were on the table to surprise my wife. We will definitely be back and would recommend The Charleston Draper to anyone looking for a venue for an amazing experience.
