The Early Bird Special was wonderful, as usual - delicious food and generous portions for a very reasonable price.. Service was disappointing, however, as we arrived at 4:45 when the restaurant main dining room was pretty empty, we were promptly seated, but then had no one come over to our table when other parties coming in after us were being seated and having their orders taken. Eventually someone came to our table to let us know our Server was finishing up a large party in another room and he was not our Server but would get us started. As it turned out, he remained our Server and was very pleasant and wanted to be helpful, but seemed a bit inexperienced because there was no time allowed for us to finish one course before the next was delivered and left on our table.. He also forgot or didn’t have time to remove dishes as we did finish courses, and disappeared for long periods (we surmise helping whoever our “other” server would have been in the other room) and we had to sit there and eventually ask others to track him down for things we needed. Though he really tried his best, was very nice and tried to help, what we really don’t understand is why the restaurant would seat us at a table with no Server available to begin with which turned a wonderful meal into an annoying experience for no reason.
