The Chew Chew is celebrating 28 years of great food & hospitality in the heart of Riverside, IL directed by original Chef/Owner Scott Zimmer. Located one-mile east of Brookfield Zoo, 5 miles northwest of Midway Airport and 10 miles west of Downtown Chicago. There is a Metra Train stop on our block for safe & easy access in/out of the City. We feature a multi-level dining room, vibrant full-bar & a cozy outdoor patio May-October (weather permitting). Happy Hour daily 4-6pm with beer, wine & cocktail specials. The food was outstanding. Bella was our server and she was extremely attentive. Cocktails were very good. Overall it was a great experience and we will be going back again, very soon.

The food is always exceptional, our server was great. The only problem we encountered was the bus boy took away my wife’s cocktail before she finished it. He did not ask if she was done, just took it away. We mentioned it to our server and she brought my wife another drink. She was great. All in all we love the Chew Chew and mistakes do happen. We will be back.

This is a long-time favorite of ours. Food is terrific, atmosphere very comfortable, bartender mixes excellent drinks, and Rebecca, our server, was very accommodating, and attentive without being pushy, so excellent service & staff. As a bonus, they are participating in Restaurant Week, and had some very delicious specials!

My friend and I went to Chew Chew this evening. We were debating if we should try the Restaurant Week menu or stick to our regular favorite entrees. Although we were not familiar with all the items on the menu, we decided to order all the Restaurant Week specials and share them. They were delicious! And so nice to try so many new foods and really enjoy them. Our server was attentive and helpful.

Seated promptly greeted and had an overall exceptional dinner. Food was outstanding good portions fair price and excellent flavor Service was attentive and very pleasant. Had a great gin and cumber tonic. Definitely coming back
