Set in the former Old Westminster Library – a Grade II listed building still with books lining the walls - The Cinnamon Club is a multiple award winning restaurant like no other with grandeur and character that perfectly complimented by outstanding food, classy cocktails and an outlandish wine list.

The team of chefs, headed up by Vivek Singh, Chef Rakesh Nair and Master Chef PD Khan aim to celebrate British ingredients with an Indian spice flair. Known for it's excellent tasting menu, seasonal set menus, Pre and post-theatre menus - they are known to cater to a wide range of palettes and preferences - game during the reason, seafood at it's best or a wide choice for vegetarians / vegans.

Each festive season we look for new ingredients to create something new for our guests, and every now and again we look back at our favourites from the past years. Whilst the food was to the level that I have come to expect at the Cinnamon Club, unfortunately the level of service at the table that we received was not to the standard that I have come to expect. The waiter pouring the wine would be better suited to a greek taverner, as the wine was sloshed into the glasses and frequently splashed out of the glass and onto the table (or into other glasses). There was absolutely no care taken. When the mains were finished, staff were clearing the plates before everyone had finished the meal, which made us feel like we were more of a hindrance, rather than a valued customer.

This was a tops dining experience! Service level was top notch, inventive, delicious menu delivered in a unique London setting. Would go back in a heartbeat & will try the other concepts by this restaurant around London next we are back.

Been before and - as always - this visit was a pure delight. We were celebrating a birthday and it was a very special meal. Food was amazing (as always), expertly spiced. Not overpowering, but no hiding the delicious flavours. Fish, prawns and indeed everything else cooked to perfection. We’ll be back again I’m sure.
