Set in the former Old Westminster Library – a Grade II listed building still with books lining the walls - The Cinnamon Club is a multiple award winning restaurant like no other with grandeur and character that perfectly complimented by outstanding food, classy cocktails and an outlandish wine list.

The team of chefs, headed up by Vivek Singh, Chef Rakesh Nair and Master Chef PD Khan aim to celebrate British ingredients with an Indian spice flair. Known for it's excellent tasting menu, seasonal set menus, Pre and post-theatre menus - they are known to cater to a wide range of palettes and preferences - game during the reason, seafood at it's best or a wide choice for vegetarians / vegans.

Join us for Jazz Brunch at the legendary Westminster Library and enjoy live music whilst you indulge in a seductive 3 – course brunch menu. Kick off with proceedings with a Kedgeree with smoked haddock and poached egg or Jackfruit and lotus root kebab with poppy seed & tomato chutney. Indulge in larger plates of Tandoori Portobello and king oyster mushrooms, stir-fry of morels with peas & spinach garlic sauce; Rajasthani style curried venison mince with fried egg & layered paratha. End things on a sweet note with a passion fruit and gulab jamun brûlée or selection of English cheeses with quince chutney. T&Cs: two-piece band will perform from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. The last seating is available at 2:30pm.

Whilst the food was to the level that I have come to expect at the Cinnamon Club, unfortunately the level of service at the table that we received was not to the standard that I have come to expect. The waiter pouring the wine would be better suited to a greek taverner, as the wine was sloshed into the glasses and frequently splashed out of the glass and onto the table (or into other glasses). There was absolutely no care taken. When the mains were finished, staff were clearing the plates before everyone had finished the meal, which made us feel like we were more of a hindrance, rather than a valued customer.

This was a tops dining experience! Service level was top notch, inventive, delicious menu delivered in a unique London setting. Would go back in a heartbeat & will try the other concepts by this restaurant around London next we are back.

Been before and - as always - this visit was a pure delight. We were celebrating a birthday and it was a very special meal. Food was amazing (as always), expertly spiced. Not overpowering, but no hiding the delicious flavours. Fish, prawns and indeed everything else cooked to perfection. We’ll be back again I’m sure.

the vegetarian menu is very limited, and quite expensive for what you get. The desserts we ordered were not to our expectations.
