Originally a historic US Coast Guard Station built in 1888 by famed architects McKim, Mead & White, now a spectacularly located waterfront restaurant overlooking Narragansett Bay. Offering an array of creative dishes from lobster & sweet corn tamale, lobster ravioli, grilled swordfish, lobster mac & cheese, & organic chicken; we supporting all aspects of sustainable agriculture and aquaculture. We use local farms when possible and source produce for quality and sustainability. Our seafood is sourced from purveyors that are dedicated to locating species from areas that produce the best tasting and highest quality seafood available.

    Valentine's Day is always a lovely visit to CGH. We've been there 3x now, and love V-Day there. The ambiance of the lovely candles, roses, and pleasing environment makes it all lovely. I had the ribeye, and my wife had the scallops. The flour less chocolate cake was a great cap to the meal. Service was attentive, and our needs were consistently looked after. Thank you very much for a great night.

    As always, a great dining experience. Food is amazing. Only item to note is, we decided to sit at the bar as we enjoy the ambiance and views of sitting there. One thing is to note is that the older, regular, bartender gentleman who works behind the bar, could use some better people skills. He often seems very put out and is not very welcoming. We've experienced similar situations with the same individual in previous visits. The rest of the bar staff and others have always been quite pleasant. We will definitely be back, just may not sit at the bar. Thank you.

    This was our first time to experience the great food, service and ambience at this outstanding location. We arrived a few hours early for our reservation and the host was able to accommodate the earlier time frame. The service was excellent, the food was scrumptious. The appetizers of oysters Rockefeller and muscles in their secret garlic sauce was out of this world. The entrees came out  directly after we finished and the tables were cleared rapidly. The restaurant was full of patrons, but the operation ran very smoothly. We can’t wait for our next trip to this fantastic restaurant. Five stars 👍🙌

    We thoroughly enjoyed evening out. We were lucky enough to book our reservation for the Tuesday candlelight night experience. The ambience was really quite relaxing and beautiful. The illumination of all the candles against the windows overlooking the ocean was just divine. There were many wonderful choices for entrees on the menu, however, my husband and I each had the evening's dinner specials which were excellent. I had the pasta dinner special (linguine with lobster, shrimp and scallops in a light ginger cream sauce) and my husband had the short rib dinner with mashed potatoes and haricot verts (french green beans). The server was pleasant, friendly and informative. We will definitely return again.

    Always a beautiful location and table was nicely decorated and seated on time. Calamari was tasty however, somewhat rubbery. The seafood pasta special looked very appetizing but had hot and cold pockets. The Linguine and clams were very good. Overall a mediocre experience.
