Very disappointed with my visit as I had specifically returned to try the food after previously visiting for drinks.
The drinks were fantastic and they do a lovely espresso martini, however the food is extremely below average and not worth the price. The service was terrible this evening, waiting over 10 minutes to someone come take our order after telling us they will return in a moment (it was approx 50% full).
We opted for a few of the ‘small plates’ ordering the olives, the focaccia, the whipped feta and a bowl of fries. First of all, the olives never arrived, the focaccia was SO overly ‘grilled’ and didn’t appear like focaccia at all, the feta (which apparently has pistachio in it but you wouldn’t know by the taste only the colour) was served with vegetables sticking up out of it which looked like a child played it and served with some flatbreads which was fine but nothing special. The fries were seasoned well. When we got the bill the olives were on it, but the staff member took them off after we had explained they never arrived.
Very disappointing considering we went out of our way to return here to try the food. Such a pity as it has so much potential with the drinks being at such a high standard and the ambience of the bar is fabulous.
