    Excellent, as always. The food, drinks and service is always top notch. One of the best steaks I have had and the carrots are outstanding. Thanks, for the great experience

    Our whole dining experience this evening was top notch. Jaida, our server, was engaging, attentive and the service was spot on. Our bartender made a perfect Pisco Sour. Good selection of wines. The meal was fantastic: heirloom carrots with zhug and almonds, frites with an amazing garlic aioli, grilled bok choy caesar salad and a filet mignon to die for. Grilled perfectly, as was the halibut with navy beans. Too full for dessert, but artisanal chocolates were brought out with a sparkler for my husband’s birthday. We have consistently had fabulous meals at The Common Stove and would highly recommend this restaurant.

    Everything was delicious the only comment is that water for the tea could have been hottter also my coffee as well could have been hotter. The overall meal was excellent Sticky Toffee never disappoints.

    We were a group of 4. Ordered scallops,bone marrow, a ricotta pasta dish, 16 oz Tomapork pork chop, 16 oz ribeye steak and chop house potatoes which we all shared AND for dessert we had sticky toffee pudding for 2, chocolate basque cake and Vegan Mess dessert. The food and service was amazing and delicious. We highly recommend The Common Stove. You will love it. Best sticky toffee pudding ever.

    Anniversary dinner with two couples. Three roast beef specials and one rib eye steak were main courses. Steak was excellent , bit pricey but hard to beat taste and quality. Roast beef dinners were good value, would have preferred a full cut of prime rib but each got three thinner sections, yorkshire excellent with potoato and veggies. One got the scallop appitizer and must say was the biggest disappontment, two scallops smaller than a loonie with a bland sauce. The dessert, a sticky toffee cake was a 10. Serevice was very good, we were however surprised at one of the servers wearing cut off jean shorts, this isnt a cheap meal and has a reputation for high end dining. Over all enjoyed the meal, menu a bit limiting.
