Our beliefs are simple - in a world full of so much terrific food and wine, why settle for a slab of quiche and a glass of boring plonk? Our food is innovative, fresh and tasty... and available at all hours. The wine list speaks for itself - "Legendary for its iconoclastic notes. Four of us have been having the Christmas menu for several years now and this year [21/12/24] was the best [Christmas] food we have ever had. We are frequent customers, not as often now as previously as we have retired; we have been frequenting the C&B for l30 years, lovely environment, food and wine.

An oasis of calm on Leicester Square. We have been often and always have a great time. Considering the central London location the prices aren’t bad. Recommended.

Nice wine and ambience obviously and the staff were pleasant, but my experience was spoiled by severely lacklustre vegetarian options. A ball of burrata with bread and beetroot puree is a starter, definitely NOT a main course. Gnocchi or risotto are similarly pitiful and unimaginative vegetarian options, inexcusable in the modern West End. For my meat-eating friends, simply presenting a small shepherds pie in a dish on a plate is not a main meal either. Why are we expected to purchase extra side dishes to make a "main course" complete? Pleasant but I won't be returning.

Cheese board was woeful - basically cheap and cardboard bread and basic grocery cheese chunks in small portions, barely presented. Not worth the price.

I absolutely love this restaurant! It’s a perfect haven under the hustle and bustle of Leicester Square. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is consistently delicious, the wine list is wonderful and the service is always top-notch. A hidden gem in the heart of all the city!

Another fabulous evening at The Cork & Bottle. The staff are knowledgeable, wine choice excellent food good and atmosphere has always been brilliant. We are looking forward to returning very soon.

Fantastic atmosphere. You go through an unassuming door just off Leicester Square and find yourself in a crowded cellar bar. When we were there they had opened a Nebuchadnezzar (not sure of spelling) of red and were serving from it which added to the buzz. The food was excellent and the wine delicious. We will definitely go back.
