Located in the historic town of Kenilworth in the heart of Warwickshire, The Cross is an award-winning pub that combines Michelin-starred food with a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

Under the guidance of chef-director Adam Bennett, we have held a Michelin star for over nine years and are proud to boast three AA Rosettes. We received a Good Food Award Gold Seal in 2021.

The Cross is housed in a Grade II listed 19th-century inn and has been sympathetically restored to retain its heritage alongside contemporary touches that make it a fabulous place to enjoy great food, a casual atmosphere and informal but attentive service.

Our main dining room is a former school room that leads to a cosy and welcoming bar - previously a butcher's shop.

Another dining room overlooks the pass, where guests can glimpse the team of chefs busily at work.

We have a green and spacious pub garden, perfect for aperitifs, cocktails and post-dinner drinks.

BY CAR We have a spacious car park that can be found at the rear of the building and is available for the use of our customers. BY TRAIN The closest station to The Cross is Kenilworth Station, only one mile away (about a five-minute drive). For more regular trains and a greater number of destinations, we recommend Coventry Station, which is only 15 minutes away by car.

Excellent as always. They really look after you and the food is excellent. My wife has a dairy and egg allergy which we let them know about in advance and they did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our meal. Very much appreciated and of course we’ll be back.

Warm welcome and friendly service. Stunning food, presentation, taste. Sommelier gave detailed description of all wines which was on point. Look forward to a return visit.

Haven't been for a couple of years, glad we came back. Had the a la carte lunch which was delicious, all 3 of us had different dishes, up to the dessert (the wonderful soufflé) which were all well executed. Great service too, and great to have a chat with Chef Adam, he was genuinely lovely. Won't leave it so long next time.
