Located in the historic town of Kenilworth in the heart of Warwickshire, The Cross is an award-winning pub that combines Michelin-starred food with a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

Under the guidance of chef-director Adam Bennett, we have held a Michelin star for over nine years and are proud to boast three AA Rosettes. We received a Good Food Award Gold Seal in 2021.

The Cross is housed in a Grade II listed 19th-century inn and has been sympathetically restored to retain its heritage alongside contemporary touches that make it a fabulous place to enjoy great food, a casual atmosphere and informal but attentive service.

Our main dining room is a former school room that leads to a cosy and welcoming bar - previously a butcher's shop.

Another dining room overlooks the pass, where guests can glimpse the team of chefs busily at work.

We have a green and spacious pub garden, perfect for aperitifs, cocktails and post-dinner drinks.

Our Tasting Menu is designed to take you on a journey, showcasing a broad range of culinary skills using the best seasonal produce available. Optional wine pairings are available to accompany the courses. Our current menu is displayed on our website but is also liable for change as new dishes are developed daily. Last orders are at Wednesday to Friday Lunch 1.00pm & Dinner 8.30pm, Saturday Lunch 1.30pm & Dinner 8.30pm Sunday Lunch 2.30pm

The food and service was amazing. We both went for the taster of menu where the quality of the food was amazing and the soufflés were to die for along with the service and the amazing quality of food.

What a joy to celebrate my birthday with special friends at a very special place - The Cross Kenilworth Worth every penny with amazing food, excellent service and lovely surroundings -the friends were fun too!

Had the tasting menu. Each course was well explained including the wine pairing. For many places this a mere required formality. But at the Cross time and effort was made to explain the food and wine of each course. Each course was also excellent. All memorable. Can I pick a stand out. No every course was a stand out. The Cross seems to just keep improving.

Nice food, really delicious, but I can't give more than three stars for the service when cutlery is simply placed on the table—not on a napkin, not on a tablecloth, just directly on the table. Thank goodness it's not on the floor. Do they wipe the table before placing the cutlery? They brush it with a brush that's been used who knows how many times before?
