   The service and vibe of this place was very good. I enjoyed the Pork Belly starter but my main of Sirloin Steak was disappointing. The steak was overcooked and the chips were best described as the scraps… I think I had 2 whole chips and unfortunately they were cold. Couldn’t fault the rectification as in the waitress removed the cost for the so called chips and offered a free dessert, so fair play they did try to resolve there and then. Shame the kitchen let the servers and restaurant down on this occasion.

   This was our second visit to Cut & Craft, food was excellent, service was also excellent, our server was Eleanor, she was very attentive.

   Lovely meal at the cut and craft in York. Last minute decision to book and we are pleased we did. Well worth a visit. 5 of us including 2 teenagers and all enjoyed the food.

   Food was lovely, and service, just felt like we was rushed, not really a break between courses, felt like the focus was more on turn around. Otherwise brilliant

   Absolutely great and super value 2 course deal my only critic is that my starter had barely any blue cheese not even a tea spoon ~ I’m aware it was a deal and the steak was excellent
