Nestled within 4.25 acres of land in Toronto, guests can choose to dine on our scenic outdoor patio with seating for up to 65 people, inside the restored Gothic Victorian inspired dining space or reserve one of our five chic private rooms.

Service was good until they came with one very incorrect meal- which meant we had to wait and those served had cold meals- they apologized but did nothing for us Very pricey for what you get. impressive beautiful surroundings

Service was terrible. The waiter never came back and cleared our plates or asked how things were going. My son‘s steak was completely undercooked and had to be sent back, but I had to ask the bus boy to come. The baked potatoes were overcooked. There wasn’t enough selection of sides.

Had the worst steak in my life. For $68 it was inedible. It was solid grease. Very little meat. I complained to the server. Not blaming him. We love coming here but he did voice my displeasure but said he couldn’t do anything about it. My husbands fish was good as always. I have always ordered steak and this is the first time I was so disappointed.

Great service. Shrimp appetizer was cooked perfectively. Love the ambience - fireplace, comfortable, old world furniture, and hushed environment. Premium steak well done. Atlantic salmon juicy and spiced to perfection.

We took my elderly parents and their friends for an anniversary dinner at the David Duncan House and could not be more pleased. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The staff was incredibly accommodating and were able to seat us comfortably, The service was impeccable, with our highly knowledgeable and attentive waiter (thank you, John!) taking excellent care of all seven of us throughout the entire evening. The food was outstanding. From the perfectly prepared filet mignon and New York sirloin to the grilled branzino and pan-seared halibut, every dish was a delight. The salads—Greek and kale/brussels sprout—were equally impressive. Dessert was the perfect finale, with the in-house-made crème brûlée and chocolate hazelnut torte earning rave reviews from everyone. Special mention goes to their expertly crafted old-fashioned, featuring Michter's sour mash. Everyone agreed that the David Duncan House made our celebration memorable, and we look forward to returning for another exceptional evening in this beautiful and refined space.

We dined here on New Years Eve. This is the first time we have been back under new management. We were a table of 7, John was our server and he was very pleasant and knowledgeable..the food was delicious, we all had different steak dinners and we all enjoyed them! We will be back! Thank you!

We went there for the châteaubriant steak but this choice was not available for New Year Eve?. Otherwise good experience
