The Depot Restaurant is a charming neighborhood restaurant located in a stone building just a block off the Plaza in Sonoma. Locals and visitors to the Wine Country enjoy Tuscan-inspired cuisine in spacious dining rooms, and on the terraces of the Italian garden and reflection pool. In addition to products made in-house, the Sonoma wine country offers an abundance of new artisanal products to enjoy. The wine list is heavily laden with local Sonoma wines as well as wines from Italy. Come join us for dinner...or just drop in for some small plates and a glass of wine! Take-out is always available, give us a call to place your order over the phone!

We have parking in our own private lot, just past the building through the big wrought iron gates. In addition, there is a large free public parking lot for 250 cars directly across the street. Street parking with no time limit is also available directly in front along 1st St West.

Everything about The Depot was wonderful!! We were seated immediately for our 5:30 reservation, and our server was very attentive from the beginning. From our drink order through the appetizer and finally the main courses, our server was very attentive and personable. The timing of courses couldn’t have been better, we were able to visit amongst ourselves and the items presentation was seamless and quick. The quality of the appetizer (calamari) and entrees was excellent! I can’t say enough good things about our experience at The Depot in Sonoma! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! 5 Stars!!

We had an amazing dining experience here at The Depot. The service staff went out of their way to wish me a happy birthday more than once, and they all came out to the table and did the old-school tradition of singing me a happy birthday as well! It was a cute, pleasant surprise. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive. The ambiance was lovely and surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. Very happy I chose The Depot for our special dinner occasion!

Everything about this dinner was fantastic. Our server was attentive, food was excellent and even the bussers were on their game and knew their stuff. Thanks depot.

Food was very good - waiter none attentive - only a few tables to wait and he took forever to take our order. Then disappeared. Chatted with friends at another table most of the time. Had to ask for water refills, never came back. Hostess refilled our water glasses.
