Located on the corner of 3rd Avenue South & Demonbreun, The Diner is the crown jewel of Downtown Nashville’s SoBro district. Our 6 story restaurant boasts six unique floors, each with gorgeous views of downtown. Our chef-driven menu features everything from traditional breakfast fare and lunch specialties, to mouth watering steaks, exquisite seafood, Southern home-style dishes, Italian classics, freshly shucked oysters, and sushi.
Each floor offers our guests a truly unique dining experience. For those looking for breakfast to go, stop by the 1st floor coffee shop to enjoy premium Lavazza coffee beverages and fresh baked pastries. With floor to ceiling windows, our chic dining rooms are guaranteed to wow even the most well-traveled guest. Our Private Dining Rooms feature private balconies.     I had the Mediterranean salad which was good. My husband had the rattlesnake pasta which was good but very spicy. We went on a Sunday night and were the only customers in the 4th floor. Nice and quiet, fast service.

    Alissa was beyond attentive and engaging. She took great care of us. And Tyler’s recommendation of the blueberry muffin was spot on.

    We were disappointed that they were out of Slow Roasted Pot Roast and Chicken Parm. Two of their favorites. This is bad planning considering they opened at 3:00 and by 7:00 they were out.

    Food was not good, very bland. Was charged a dollar more than menu price for the breakfast burrito. Service fee charged, and downtown fee charge which I haven’t seen at any other resturant during our 5 day stay. Could not get latte on the floor that I was randomly assigned, which was the only reason I came to this diner, to have a latte with my meal, which most diners do not offer. I had to order my food, then go downstairs for my latte, and come back up. Very bad experience, would not recommend.

    We ate as a family of six;two adults and four kiddos under age of 10; service was very fast and friendly! The food was so good! Highly recommend!

    The mixed drink was the worst old fashioned I’ve ever had. The pot roast was so very dry, the mahi was overcooked. The service was just ok, far from professional or friendly. Definitely not worth $80 (pre tip).
