Embark on a culinary journey inspired by the British coast and countryside with Taste of The Dorset, our exquisite six-course tasting menu spotlighting succulent seafood and seasonal delights. Served Wednesday through Saturday from 5pm in our elegant second-floor dining room, indulge in a meticulously crafted showcase of artful technique and exceptional ingredients. To further enhance your fine dining experience, enjoy curated wine pairings designed to elevate each dish. $130 per person. Excludes tax & gratuity. Please note: once booked, you will be contacted for a $50 dining deposit. Participation of the entire table is highly encouraged. Cancellations require 24 hours notice.

Traditionally celebrated every Sunday, this meal brings together three of life’s greatest pleasures: quality meats, mouthwatering sides, and convivial times with good company. As integral to British culture as it is to Executive Chef Ryan Lister’s heritage, Sunday roast guarantees a meal with bold flavours, textures, and sauces. We serve each plate with roasted potatoes, carrots, cabbage, and pan gravy. And because you can’t have too much of a good thing, all roasts (not just beef!) include Yorkshire pudding—because in our kitchen, the rules are meant to be broken. “If I could eat one final meal, it would be me Nan’s Sunday roast!” – Chef Ryan

The ambiance is nice but the service was lacking. We started off with attentive service but as the night went on, we were left unattended and we had to flag down servers to little avail. It seemed like the servers were preoccupied with the tables with more guests who arrived later than us. Our drinks also arrived really late so we weren’t able to order more drinks during happy hour because by the time our servers arrived, happy hour was over. Due to a mediocre night, I likely won’t recommend or return again.

We went for the Sunday Roast and the food was great and came out quickly. The service was also great. My only note is that the music in the upstairs dining area was (a) loud, especially considering it was not very busy at the time we were there (early dinner on a Sunday), and (b) not cohesive to the theme of the restaurant at all - the whole menu is British pub themed, as is the decor, and then they were just playing generic top 40/dance music. With some different music played at a bit lower volume, the whole environment would fit the theme of the menu, and it would be really outstanding! Would definitely return, just wanted to share one small note that could make a big difference for ambience.

Wonderful food and service. The lamb sirloin was to die for. And, first place I’ve been to where a cocktail was served in a teacup.

The service was excellent. I was thrilled with the attentiveness of the staff, from start to finish – they were there when we needed them, but were not underfoot during our meal. My date was not thrilled by her meal, but I thought mine was well above par. The ambiance is that of an upscale English pub. We dined downstairs, so I can't speak to the dining room experience upstairs.

Enjoyed their happy hour cocktails and small plates. Several large groups, including an Office Chrismas party were present but the staff were very attentive. Would visit again.

Beautiful decor. Excellent service. Food is good but not great. Need more wine by the bottle in the $65 to $70 range. Would definitely recommend The Dorset.
