The Drexel is a sophisticated yet quaint, modern Mediterranean restaurant in Miami Beach. Named after the iconic street and built on the corner of a historical 1920’s village, The Drexel will transport you to the bygone era of Miami Beach.

Chef Nano Crespo brings his signature rustic, straight forward cooking style to The Drexel. Offering clean flavors from the charcoal grill and wood oven, the menu includes house made pasta and pizza with a heavy emphasis on locally sourced seafood and an entire section dedicated to vegetable dishes. The Drexel also features a uniquely curated wine list with boutique wines from Greece, France, Spain, and Italy. The cocktail list will thrill lovers of libations with favorites like The Drexel Margarita, made with mezcal, in-house organic infused agave with fresh citrus, and a toasted coconut salt rim that lets your mind drift off to a beachfront moment.

    Celebrate your holidays with The Drexel, the chic Mediterranean-inspired restaurant at Esmé Miami Beach Hotel! On December 24th and 25th from 5-10pm, guests can enjoy a whole organic wood-roasted whole chicken or a charcoal grilled whole branzino with pistachio pesto, kalamata tapenade and fennel. Both large format dishes are for 3 people or more and served with the following sides and desserts from our wood oven. Baked spinach, greek yogurt, kefalograviera cheese Yukon gold scappled potatoes, brown butter. Chestnut caramel pie Whole Chicken with sides and dessert $ 155 Whole Branzino with sides and dessert $ 220

    My husband went to dinner last night because of the reviews on opentable. Walking in it was a very nice place. Staff seemed welcoming. My issue was mainly with service. We went for the Miami Spice experience but just got poor service. We ordered an appetizer that never came. We had to ask for drink refills. There was another table with 5 guests that continued getting timely service and regular check-ins. I really wanted to like this place but was so turned off by the poor service.

    We had a great dinner. Shared the whole organic chicken with salad and fries. It was great. Service is always A+. I think from the welcome to the check, it is the best service in South Beach. I’ve tried the fish, lamb and steak on menu. All excellent. We sat inside. Not hot, but doors open and not very much AC. Also, it is very loud inside- noise from other tables. I think sitting outdoors is better.

    Great happy hour. Awesome bartenders and cocktails, and the rotisserie chicken dinner is amazing. Best vibes and value in South Beach. I like to go to the Drexel a couple of times a month, at least.

    Tasty, casual, simple yet sophisticated food in a beautiful organic luxury style setting. Love the decor, ambience that is relaxing yet exciting at the same time. You can hear each other talk and have a conversation. Great attentive service.

    Our server was fantastic. The food was good; the margaritas, outstanding! Upon arrival, the hostess was completely disorganized. The noise was ridiculously loud and we had a “quiet table”.
