The Drumming Snipe is a contemporary Pub Restaurant nestled in the village of Mayford, between Woking and Guildford. Offering a warm and relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy the perfect mid week meal, a delicious Sunday roast or a Friday night catch up with a great selection of cask ales, wines and cocktails to choose from.
Guests are invited to dine in our quirky horse trailers, covered and heated terrace or feast in our exquisite dining room but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared.

Bar tickets priced at £10 and include a complimentary glass of fizz. Back for another year is Mayford's premier New Year’s Eve experience, Dine and Disco at The Drumming Snipe. Throw on your finest attire and join us as we ring in the New Year in style! If you wish to book a table to dine with us please use the normal table booking and you can indulge in our delectable dinner menu and show stopping specials then slide over to the dance floor and disco yourself all the way into 2025!

Lovely pub & restaurant and pleasant front of house staff. Unfortunately the food took over an hour and was not up to standard of previous visits.

We visited The Drumming Snipe today at midday as a family of five for their festive menu, and it was an exceptional experience. The staff were incredibly accommodating, professional, and respectful while being friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The festive menu had something for everyone, and each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. The Free-range Wiltshire turkey was a clear favourite with its perfectly cooked trimmings, while the children loved the White Onion Soup starter and Sticky Toffee Pudding dessert. The Heritage Beets and Dark Chocolate Mousse were equally standout choices, leaving us all very satisfied. The staff made sure we were well looked after, and the warm atmosphere made it a truly memorable family meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and fantastic service!

Beautiful pub, excellent food and great service - we had the Christmas set menu and found it very good value. We were there very early in the evening so quite quiet, but it was getting busy as we left, will be definitely coming back!

Sunday roast is excellent and good value for both the quality and quantity. Service is always friendly and attentive. My favourite Sunday roast venue and we live 30 mins away!

The quality of the food overall was very good, however the sticky toffee pudding could have been hotter and the custard less runny. The staff were very pleasant but as our stay continued and the number of covers increased thet did appear stretched and we had rather a longer wait for our dessert course than I would usually expect dining here. The ambience during our two hour dining experince was rather spolit towards the end by excess noise from other diners so much so that it became difficult to hold a conversion at normal voice level. Please accept these as constructive comments as we really like eating at the Drumming Snipe and hope to be back in the new year.

First,time visiting the Drummond & what a great experience. The food,staff and atmosphere were excellent. Will definitely be visiting again, I couldn't find any faults that let the pub down. Staff are polite & a credit to the pub. Would recommend the Drummond Snipe to family and friends with no concerns.
