   Me and my girlfriend took the sausages with mash potatoes, pees and gravy sauce, delicious. The ambient is normal but has a good mood. I'd return there.

   It might be just good enough for a beer but I don’t recommend this place for dinner. The quality of the food is poor and the service is ensured by young guys very polite but lacking skills for the job

   Great little pub, great roast! Good location, just what we wanted to a friends lunch. Everyone there was very lovely.

   Food was fantastic, but having condiments let the meal down ever so slightly for us. Not sure about lack of table service in the dining room but I wouldn’t mark it down for that - we just weren’t told on entry. Other than that, was great and will be back!

   Three of us had the Sunday roast, beef, pork belly and nut roast, the other member of our party had the sea bass. We all thought our meals were very good, and the cost was in line with normal expectations. Thank you

   The reviews here must be based on previous ownership/ management. Staff were friendly and helpful but unfortunately nothing else functioned. Food was freezer-fryer dreadful, atmosphere non-existent but for a few sweary guys in the back bar. Most importantly the menu was a world away from that published on their website. Clearly a throwback to better times. Pity.

   This was a strange experience for sure. We arrived and saw the bartender, who appeared to be the only one working despite quiz night and the number of people in the restaurant. We asked if we could choose a table, which we did and after 20 mins, no one came by. We ended up leaving so we didn’t eat, but it was very understaffed and strange.
