welcome to the Eldo
Located proudly in the heart of Long Beach City, the Eldo - formerly known as the Eldorado - has been a staple in the LBC restaurant community since 1957.
Owned by South African native Trevor Nettmann since 2012 - the Eldo has been restored to its fullest potential & now boasts an eclectic menu of both American // South African fare.
With a sole focus on serving the highest quality food + craft cocktails & locally brewed craft beer - is passionate about cultivating both a local // international menu with an equally captivating atmosphere for each guest.

    Excellent table on patio by the fireplace provided a great dining experience which was quieter than inside . Food choices were plentiful and arrived quickly. Our server Zoey was superb! Pleasant and responsive without intruding on our conversations.

    The food and service was excellent. The fish and chips cooked perfectly. Extra crispy fries very tasty, no ketchup needed

    Great selection of items. A little cold outside as the pyramid heaters don’t do much. Overall pretty good.

    The Eldo is such a great place for a date night. We got there for our date night and the hostess was very friendly and nice. We were seated at our table. Our waitress come over not long after being seated. She took our drink order and the drinks came out not shortly afterwards. We ordered our dinner I got the Rib Eye and my wife got the Patty Melt. Both were delicious and our waitress kept checking up on us to make sure everything was okay. We will be returning back to The Eldo for future date nights.
