the venue is beautiful and my feedback is minor but could be easily improved upon. We had the high tea - and it was a fresh to have high tea that isnt sweet which suited our taste buds.
We had made a booking that we would have high tea - and i dont know if this information was provided to the kitchen.
Upon arrival, the door still had the "closed" sign there and so we waited outside. this was fine, except we saw one person who was in the kitchen see us, and ignored us. What could have happened, regardless of whether they are open or not, is for the person to come out and just tell us that they need a few minutes before they open, and that someone will be with us shortly. It was just rude and not appropriate that they saw us, then looked away and carried on in the kitchen.
the food which was high tea took 20 minute to come - not sure why the long wait? whilst it was good i would not be waiting that long. finally, as with many restaurants today, they have switched to sustainable water - sparkling water that they produce in house rather than san pelligrino and I would like to see that offered in your restaurant.
