Led by a team of lifelong Chicago restaurant figures, The Evie is a locally-owned upscale dining destination located at the heart of the Magnificent Mile. Led by Partner George Archos (Wildberry Café), Chef-Partner Nick Nitti (Forno Rosso, Lucia Rose, Cucina 3 Italian), and Executive Chef Phil Rubino (Spiaggia, L2O, Cicchetti), the restaurant provides city locals and visitors a place to unwind and indulge while overlooking iconic Michigan Avenue. Named after George’s mother and daughter, the concept puts family at the forefront, with an emphasis on warm, Midwestern hospitality.

Evie offers full lunch/dinner and weekend brunch, presenting a menu of reimagined American classics and city favorites, spotlighting dishes like chef-crafted sushi rolls, freshly baked breads, Chicago-style Wagyu hotdogs, and USDA prime steaks. Complementing the menu, our dynamic beverage program weaves together seasonality and elegance, featuring an array of classic and craft cocktails, sake, beer & wine.

Good experience overall, our table wasn’t ready so we got complementary glasses of champagne while we waited by the bar. The food was incredibly scrumptious. I got sushi. I’ll definitely be coming back

Tonight we celebrated a birthday, and our server made the birthday girl feel so special…. Catering to her every wish! The meal was divine, the service top notch.

Very nice experience…our server Katie was phenomenal. We enjoyed the artichoke and spinach dip with plenty of chips…the veggie burger with crispy fries, the french dip roast beef sandwich with horseradish and au jus, along with the kale salad side…everything was very tasty.

We love the Evie! It was our second time here. The house bread is just so buttery and delicious. Caesar salad was dressed well. I had the veggie burger with teriyaki and enjoyed that. Topped off with a scoop of Evie’s million dollar ice cream. The waitress we had today was very friendly and prompt. I am interested to try how their sushi is! Will definitely be back.

The food was amazing! I highly recommend the white fish in the lemon butter sauce and the brownie sundae for dessert. One of the best brownies I’ve ever had! Our server, Jack, was awesome. Super friendly and quick! We can’t wait to come back!

We all indicated our burgers—ordered at various levels—were extremely well done, not the med-rare, med. as requested. This clearly was a kitchen failure totally. We politely mentioned the situation, but no accommodation was offered. I want to like Evie as I loved Bandera, but this was not handled as well as it could have been. I am reserving my judgment. More Noland
