Had a late lunch as our New Year's Day celebration. It was packed, so we were happy to have had a reservation. We both tried their new smash burger and it was fantastic - much better than the burger they had on the menu before now. Meaty, cheesy, and melty. The fries were nice and crisp. Perfectly spiced meal - didn't need additional salt (which we often need to add). Sara, our server, is such a delight. We always sit in her section. One of our favorite places to eat in NOVA.

The Falls has an ambitious menu with just a few choices. I had the duck breast which was satisfactory. There was also an accompianiment on the plate which I could not tell what it was and was too hard to eat. The Street Corn side is excellent. Other dishes chosen by our party were good. Good list of choices on the beer menu; the wine choices were limited.

Environment was nice. The food was okay, but didn’t have a lot of flavor. We did the unlimited small plate brunch and our orders kept coming out incomplete or just wrong. We will probably not be returning as I feel the quality was not worth the price.

Everything about this place is amazing - the food, the menu, the Happy Hour prices, the decor, ambiance, etc.. Been here several times and each time it is consistently great.

Unaware brunch would be on Saturday at two pm. The online menu didn’t show times for brunch. We were there at two pm and had limited lunch options (mostly breakfast).

Delicious quinoa salad. Tasty grits. Loose tea served in glass that looked like a mini French press. Friendly server.

3 out of the 4 entrees were terrific, but the service waned a little bit toward the end. We waited 15-20 minutes to box our food and pay the bill. All in all, a very good meal at a fair price.

The food was generally of poor quality or preparation. While the deviled eggs and Poseidon eggs were quite good, it was mostly downhill from there. Some dishes came out with cold or near-frozen potatoes and had to be sent back. Other dishes showed up as the wrong entree and had to be reordered from the kitchen. Seasoning all around was on the bland side no matter the entree. Got comped some chocolate desserts, but even those were not satisfying (in this case too salty and the crème fraiche was off). Not sure if it was an off night due to Christmas Eve, but they certainly were not slammed or super busy. We won’t be returning.
