Lovely for evening food, would definitely recommend. Not a huge choice for the continental breakfast and some issues with heating and hot water in the rooms. Staff are always amazing and sort issues quickly.

We had a great meal two course was a reasonable price of £19:99. They only take cards no cash just to be aware.

This was our first visit and we were impressed from the minute we entered. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and the host was only too willing to engage and offer information about the premises and the types of function it could accommodate. The food was excellent and was obviously created fresh (or as near fresh as possible). We never felt rushed (it was fairly quiet) and so we enjoyed the experience from beginning to end. We shall definitely be back. Thank you.

Beautifully decorated restaurant. Has a separate lunch menu as well as a la carte. 😋 cocktail menu, very reasonably priced.

The service was slow and we had to ask a number of times for drinks etc, but the quality of food was good and it is a lovely setting.

I booked the Halloween afternoon tea for myself, my husband, and our two children, though the website had very little information about what to expect. We were seated quickly and asked if we wanted tea or coffee, but no options were offered for the kids. When the food arrived, there was barely any difference between the adult and children’s portions, except the kids didn’t get brownies or biscuits. When my husband asked why the kids were served the same sandwiches as adults (with fillings like mustard and pickle, which most kids, including ours, don’t eat), the staff acted as though he was an inconvenience. The quality of the food was poor. My daughter’s cake pop had a broken stick, so I had to cut it open to remove it to keep her from chewing on wood. The cake pop itself was dense and hard to identify as cake, with a brown gelatinous coating that lacked any real flavor. We’d heard great things about their dinner service, but this experience was truly disappointing. I won’t be booking or recommending this to anyone.
