   The Fireplace is a lovely restaurant - good food, good wine list (not cheap), good service & we really enjoy the ambiance. Always interesting to watch the chefs preparing, cooking & plating the dishes in the open kitchen using nothing but the two wood fired ovens. Unfortunately, there was a large group table just near us who were very noisy. Ours was a small table of 3 and we struggled all through the evening due to the noise from the rowdy group.

   Incredible. Staff, service and food 5 stars! Nothing was too much trouble! We had the lamb to share and it was beyond delicious! A must if you are in the area!

   The food was very average. More like only ok home cooked food. The kitchen area is not ventilated - needs more exhaustion because the smoke/cooking smells belches into the restaurant. I actually felt a little sick. Sorry to say because the staff were so great.

   As the “Signature restaurant” at the intercontinentaal resort, I would have expected the staff to be more on it. But they were not great, service was painfully slow for how busy the place wasn’t. Food was good, not amazing. But overall it was fine.

   Usually one of our favourite restaurants but sadly with a party of 9 this was disappointing. The food was slow, it arrived cold and the mains were disappointing.

   Have dined there on numerous occasions, alwaysGreat food and exceptional service, the tomahawk was out of this world and the staff made our dining experience a memorable one.

    We had a lovely table for two by the window, a lovely service staff attended to us and was super lovely and helpful. We had the soup of the day as a starter and a share plate main of roast lamb with root vegetables. It was absolutely fantastic!
