The Flying Pepper Cantina will continue to offer the popular menu that is enjoyed at the food truck and will expand their creative flavors and unique ingredients by offering additional variety, tapas, a rotating seasonal fare, and a new way to discover fine foods in a relaxed atmosphere. Humberto will stay true to his Mexican roots while introducing cuisine that offers unfamiliar and unexpected flavors in a friendly environment with fresh, local foods as the market and Ohio seasons allow. Patrons will have the opportunity to compliment these flavors with a fresh approach to tequila, local craft beer and a specialty menu of cocktails.

There is an entrance in the back with some dedicated parking spots, and a huge city lot with ample parking located across from the post office on South Detroit Street. Our back entrance is accessed from this lot. Street parking at front entrance along Columbus Avenue.

First time visiting and the food was amazing. Shared the cantina dips - couldn’t possibly choose a favorite. Then had the grilled poblano dinner and upgraded to steak and the grilled shrimp and garlic dinner. All around really good. Summer was a great server and gave us a lot of good information and was attentive. Will definitely go back.

Chips and salsa were very good, as was the fish taco. But the enchiladas verde and taco al pastor had no flavor. The enchiladas had lots of verde sauce and cheese with very little taste; the shredded chicken had no taste. The al pastor pork had a hint of pineapple in just one bite.
