Our delightful 19th-century inn has been refurbished with lots of TLC to provide our guests with a comfortable, relaxed and friendly place to eat and drink. The bar is the perfect spot to grab an after-work drink or to enjoy a few pints or g&t's with friends. If you're feeling peckish, our kitchen uses the freshest ingredients to create the tastiest, most scrumptious food.

We are passionate about what we do and we make it our business to give each and every one of our guests the warmest of welcomes, including plenty of doggy treats for your four legged friends.

Love this place food is excellent and they are experts on gin and have every different gin you can think of and the knowledge to explain the differences It's worth going just for a gin and tonic !

Delicious meal. Would recommend this highly. Type of place you would make a journey to visit for the food! This is especially true if you like Gin, with G and T combinations recommended by a Gin "whisperer". A real gem of a place.

Took my mum here for Sunday lunch after seeing reviews on trip advisor! Really nice friendly pub with excellent food, it was tasty and hot, and there were lots of vegetables which makes a nice change! Really friendly people!

wow what a find - did not expect such a lovely interior, leather chairs, woodburner then the modern dining room was lovely with oak tables and art on the walls. Had the 2 course fixed price menu and it was one of the best meals we have had, both of us had the chilli prawn noodles to start the flavours were so fresh. I had the beef on a parsnip puree with roasted roots and it was melt in the mouth.

Booked a table here for a special occasion. The food was outstanding, fish cooked to perfection. We all enjoyed our food, the only thing I would say is it is a little pricey. Not the kind of place that you would come to often, only for special occasions.

Good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. We felt relaxed well looked after. I had a simple dish of lambs liver that was wonderful, served with bubble n squeek, unique! Very nice selection of deserts, I just loved the white choc and coconut flan.
