    A great local pub serving wonderful food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Regularly changing menu offering freshly cooked, innovative and delicious food. Equally good for a quick drink or a longer visit. Love it!

    Great Sunday lunch, nice wine, never felt rushed. Unfortunately, some incredibly grumpy staff who looked like it was a real chore to be there, even rolled their eyes at being asked a question. A bit sad because the staff we had at the end were really lovely.

    The front of house staff were lovely but the food was not on point this evening, the medium rare steaks were very rare indeed and they’d not bothered to take the skin off the grilled red onion before serving it. The front of house team did all they can to rectify the situation and replaced the steaks with a better cooked one and took two drinks off the bill so given this and the good reviews from others hopefully just an off day for the kitchen team.

    I’m a very lucky girl to have such a fabulous local. Food is always delicious and a great atmosphere but it is the brilliant staff that make this place so welcoming and somewhere you want to return to again and again for drinks, snacks, dinner.
