The Fox Inn dates back to 1790 and is 250 yards from the beach in Felpham. The pub is independently run and known for its cosy friendly atmosphere, serving a great selection of quality wines, world lagers and local & national ales to complement our freshly cooked locally sourced food.

Our second visit. The Fox is now our destination of choice when we want a coastal walk and a wonderful meal. A hidden gem; we've been visiting the area for 40 years and never realised it was there. Relaxed, welcoming, fabulous freshly cooked food and an amazing range of beverages.

Felpham has many happy memories from family connections for us, and The Fox is part of this. A lovely atmospheric place with friendly, attentive staff. The food is well prepared and good quality, and the large number of people there confirms how popular the pub is. The Fox has a strong feeling that everyone knows what they are doing and are keen to please their customers. Will definitely keep returning.

Not the first time we’ve eaten here but definitely the food was not up to its usual standards. The veg with the roast was hardly touched due to being ‘sloppy’ which was the opposite of the peas - hard. The gravy with the mash was watery. The toilets were very cold. The waiter was great. Such a shame as I don’t like to leave a review like this.

The menu is very good and the staff behind the bar and at the table were super helpful and welcoming. Our only issue us the length of time between ordering and getting food to table. Happy to wait for good food but time did seem too long.

We always visit The Fox when visiting felpham, always had great food and service. The pub has always been busy when we’ve been which adds to the atmosphere. Originally I’d booked a table for 2 people but my relatives asked to join us so after a quick phone call my table was amended to accommodate 6 people. We all enjoyed our food which was well presented and very tasty!

The food was reasonable value but the quality not good. Ordered mussels. Atleat a third of them were closed. One should never eat closed mussels as they can be very bad for you and poisonous. They did take the sweet off the bill but at the very least would have expected a personal apology from the manager.

My nan, myself and my mum come here regularly. The staff are always so lovely. Food is amazing. Have never had a bad meal.would highly recommend

The Fox is my go to for Sunday roast or just a delicious meal during the week. The staff are always friendly and lovely. The menu is full of a variety of delicious meals and the roast has never disappointed. Highly recommend
