The Friendly Society is Elora's best-loved neighborhood restaurant. The decor is romantic yet rustic, the vibe is hip and comfortable, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. It is located on the river, steps from the Elora Mill, with a licensed patio and live music in the summer.

Chef Marc Gebran offers classic elevated comfort food with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients. Our well-stocked bar offers a wide range of beers, a lovingly-curated wine list, and a full cocktail menu.

    Great night in Elora at this awesome restaurant. Great service and so well decorated for Xmas. Will be back again before the season is over

    Great service and food. We went for a business lunch and it was perfect. Lots of food options and they have options for gluten free which is nice

    we were there for the Sunday all you can eat brunch. The food portions were nice and small for all you can eat, but the food was just OK. Our server didnt come around Once to our table voluntarily to offer coffee we had to ask other servers. She was mostly chatting with her co-workers rather than checking in on her guests.

    I had first heard about your restaurant about a year ago. People were saying wonderful things about your brunch. Today I had the good fortune of dinning there. Our server was very nice, and even though she was pulled in many different directions, she kept an eye on us. There were also quite a few other staff helping one another. The food was yummy but could have been warmer. The fries were delicious and so was the french toast bites. The Cesar salad was also tasty and presentation was cute. The coffee was good (and hot :))...my cup was refilled 3 times. There were a few groups which made it quite noisy but once they left all was good. Overall I would definitely recommend visiting.

    This was our first time there. It was absolutely lovely. We were seated in the back room by the fireplace and window. Just gorgeous. Food was amazing and the Christmas cocktails are yummy
