The Gables offers exclusively a 3-course pre-fixe menu starting at 120 per person plus tax & tip. Menu changes weekly. Please note, supplemental charges apply to select menu items.

We offer a lovely selection of red and white wines by the bottle from Bellview Winery.

Wear designer socks when dining at The Gables, our Beach Haven, NJ restaurant. They may well be knocked off by the imaginative seasonal fare at our 2007-08 Zagat rated 26
"Exceptional to Perfection"

This historic Victorian Jersey Shore inn is open nightly for dinner during the summer season, and Thursday through Sunday from Fall to Spring. We also host memorable private parties and weddings in this most romantic of settings.

                                          A fabulous New Year’s Eve 4 course dinner with incredible food, atmosphere and entertainment. The “ to go” goodie bag was a nice added touch for the guests. Would highly recommend.

                                          Not uncommon my historical response, love the fact the Gables brings NYC to LBI. The New Year's dinner was awesome as always. Can you tell I'm a long time fan? Show and dinner, the best Lbi has to offer simply....See you Valentines day my friends

                                          There was a 35-minute gap between our first and second course and then a 20-minute gap between the third course and dessert. The look on the servers' face made me think we were forgotten. I had told the server when we first sat that we had an 8:00 show at the theatre around the block. We had a 6:00 reservation and two tables near my table sat after us and left well before we did. We were 15 minutes late for the show. Service was definitely lacking. Food was absolutely amazing. I would not go again if the restaurant is expected to be crowded. They either do not have enough wait staff or they just cannot handle it.

                                          A Christmas Eve bust. We have been here many times. Too bad. Wasn’t crazy about the menu to start off. Not enough seafood offerings for us Catjolics. Mussel’s first course. Yucky.. there were way too many. For a four course dinner, didn’t appreciate having 24 muscles to start off with. Might’ve even been more than that. I would’ve rather had smaller servings than what we got and paid less. It was way too much food and it you couldn’t eat it all. Prices are steep here too.  The mussels tasted raw and grossed me our. Second course for me was the potato and artichoke torte, which was just OK and again a very filling large portion. Next was the Seabass, which was terrible. Fava beans and tomatoes. Just the whole thing was not good at all. Didn’t look appealing either. Fish had no flavor. I finished with the cheese plate, which was fine but really two crackers to go with four different kinds of cheeses. It was disappointing to say the least. We always love this restaurant and will definitely think twice before booking for Christmas Eve again. We’ll look at the menu next time before we reserve. Four courses is over the top and don’t need all that food. Staff is always pleasant and friendly, and the ambience is beautiful .

                                          Well it definitely was an experience and a tradition that will be done every year going forward! Our family of 19 had the entire porch with 2 round tables! The service and the food was exceptional! My Father of 85 years young was the happiest celebrating in such a beautiful place with his family! We can’t wait to come back!
