    Visited New Years Eve evening everything excellent. A little longer wait for food but due to restaurant bein full not a problem Well done keep up the good work

    Beautiful family evening. Very busy and short staffed . However the staff on shift did amazingly well are very thankful for them. But the attention to drinks was not there. Also no Parmesan offered for the pasta dishes as running back to serve others, therefore had to ask ! This did not detract for a very lovely birthday evening for me

    We received a great welcome. Our food was fresh and delicious, the staff very attentive. All in all it’s no less than we expect, having been going to The Gate since it reopened. Thank you and Happy New Year to all.

    Excellent meal,shared a bruchetta ,I opted for the sea bass and my wife the salmon , my wife then had the tiramasu and myself the sambucca liqueur coffee ,everything was faultless . Staff were very polite and didn't have to wait for our meals. Can't wait to go back

    We a had amazing time it’s not the fist time we’ve been so we knew whet it was like but it never disappoints the service was amazing and the food was even better we will definitely be going back in the new year

    Overall an enjoyable evening service and food were good although the meatball starters were burnt in the bottom perhaps left on a hot plate to long , the bread and oil was a bit skimpy two slices of a thinish bread both probably not worth the price charged . Three of us dined two fillet steaks asked for medium rare both were medium although no complaints with the steak which was good and one salmon in a champagne sauce which was very good . The chips and salads that accompanied the meals were good and overall we had an enjoyable meal and evening and will most definitely return
