    Food has potential. I ordered a crispy rice salad, it had good ingredients but the dressing was extremely potent. With a strong soy / balsamic intensity. We also ordered a fish that was very dry. Place has potential

    The food was next-level fantastic. I can’t remember having a better piece of Black Cod in my life. The Salmon, Duck, Bok Choy, and crispy rice salad also received rave reviews at the table. I am glad we sat outdoors, the inside was just too loud to carry on a conversation.

    Our family celebrated our yearly Christmas party at the Gathering Table. Truely everything was excellent making for a delightful celebration. It was great to have the Gathering Table now in Solvang in a very elegant setting.

    Not sure if something was going on in the kitchen but the food and drinks took a crazy amount of time… and the food was cold - so it was odd to wait for cold food. Server was lovely and the apps were good but things seemed to fall apart with the entrees.

    Chef Budi created a memorable experience for us with the tasting experience. He came out and spoke with us to ask about our preferences and created 5 remarkably incredible dishes. Each course was beautiful and delectable and we enjoyed every single bite. A truly memorable evening in Solvang and we hope to dine here again very soon.

    The server was extremely inattentive. Basically had to chase her down to get anything including the check.. The lamb was an interesting preparation and good. The grilled cabbage was forgettable. Duck was good.

    Truly a phenomenal dining experience! We have eaten everywhere from Taco Bell to Alinea and The Gathering Table truly astounds. From the exquisitely crafted mocktails to the scrumptious and sustainably sourced menu (in a beautifully and thoughtfully designed space), you can see the care and craftsmanship that goes into every meal. The staff acts as a team, and every person we interacted with, including Chef Budi himself, was a consummate professional and was incredibly personable. Chef Budi Kazali has truly outdone himself, and we look forward to our next meal at The Gathering Table.

    Excellent food. Each dish we ordered was outstanding. We ordered our mains from chef special menu and the Santa Barbara cod prep and a5 beef special was amazing. So were the desserts. Both panna cotta and Rocky rode highly recommended. Service was outstanding and chef came specially to check on the food. Great experience overall
