   Plenty of parking spaces, a friendly welcome, the staff very attentive. The food was great. The price was lower than expected. Overall a great experience.

   Really nice country pub, good ambience and a cosy feel, tasty Sunday lunch and a delicious dessert, also very dog friendly. A lovely place and we will definitely go back if we are visiting the area again.

   Great pub food done well. Really lovely staff, very friendly and easy going. We were there to see the bands on a Friday night, what a hoot. Great music, amazing ambience. A great night out. Fabulous to see a village pub so alive and well supported.

   Delicious Sunday roast and really well priced. Great service too and a lovely open fire to sit opposite. We will be back!

   The Globe had a good choice of food with good sized portions. The beer was excellent and the folk music made it a really enjoyable evening. (Wednesdays)

   Previously raved about the globe but the food whilst excellent was very small portions compared to when we visited at Easter . A little dissapointiing

    The service was very good although the menu was unimaginative. They ran out of fish & chips and the homemade flat bread was anything but flatbread with no explanation. We are in the middle of Devon with two amazing ice cream makers close by - Salcombe and Dartmoor then to be offered vanilla, strawberry or chocolate (boring)
