Excellent Experience at The Goat by David Burkle I had the pleasure of enjoying an unforgettable dinner at The Goat by Dave Burke. The angry butcher pizza was sublime, with a thin and crispy crust that perfectly complemented the intense flavor of the pepperoni. Additionally, I tried the bronzino fish, which was cooked to perfection and simply delicious. The drinks, especially the white sangria, were refreshing and complemented the meal. The warm and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant made our night even more special. The service was exceptional; the staff and manager, Rj, were always attentive to our needs. Overall, my experience at The Goat by Dave Burke was impressive. The quality of food, service and atmosphere make it a highly recommended spot. I'll be back soon!

Our server was professional, lovely and knowledgeable. She welcomed us in, gave great advice, and was overall terrific as this was our first visit. The food was fantastic, as were the cocktails. The only drawback was a gentleman that was assisting at our table. Initially he came over (after we were seated by staff) and asked if we seated ourselves or if we had a reservation. (We did have a reservation, and explained that as we entered the restaurant). We ordered the whipped ricotta (which was delicious) and this same gentleman advised that if we needed more bread just ask. Clearly this happens often. Well, we were left with a half bowl of cheese and no bread. We asked and received. However when we received the bill we were charged $3 for the extra bread. Not the money, it’s the principle. You may want to rethink that policy. Personally I don’t like being nickel and dimed. Unfortunately it left us feeling a little deflated after an outstanding experience.

Thanksgiving pre-fix dinner was delicious and reasonable!! First time to this David Burke establishment.. Overall service good..a bit unorganized upon arrival but otherwise good! Maybe some light music dimmer lights with small lights at the tables could have helped the ambience..

For Central Jersey, this was without doubt the finest meal I ever ate, in a relaxed intimate atmoshpere and all reasonably priced too. Our waiter John, was most attentive and also helped in making a great wine selection. My partner and I often go into New York City and we also loved the option to enjoy a "Pre Fixe" dinner, as we do before B'way shows. We are already considering our dining time for Christmas day and have newlywed neighbors, anxious to come with us. The GOAT will definetly be our "go to" dining experience when we want great food in an upscale setting, without the NYC prices. Congratulations RJ and staff for a Thanksgiving holiday, and a priest never lies. Looking forward to our next time. Blessings, Father Bryan +

Convenient location, great food, excellent service and nice atmosphere!! Will definitely be dining at The Goat again! Also, based on our experience at The Goat, we will be sure to visit David Burke's other restaurants. If they are anything like The Goat, I'm sure we won't be disappointed!

I dined at The Goat with my husband and another couple on a Saturday night during Restaurant Week. The restaurant has a really fun vibe that we all loved. They were very busy and also had a party going on upstairs. Our food was a little slow to arrive, which we were fine with. An app that two of our party ordered wasn't available anymore, but they both liked their next choices. All of the food was delicious. The only issue I had was some grizzle in my flank steak. There was plenty of beef to eat though, I took half home, and it was yummy. We will definitely go back! Our server was Amanda and she was very attentive and helpful. We loved her.
